Register a merchant account and complete account activation and business activation to start using Onerway payments and transfer services.

Overview

This document describes how to register a merchant account and complete the activation process. After registering an account, you can log in to the Merchant Portal to view the feature menu. To enable payments, transfers, and other services, you need to complete account activation and business activation.

Note: Please fill in the information truthfully. Incorrect information will affect the review process.


Account Registration

Registration Steps

  1. Visit the official website and click the Register button
  2. Enter your registration email and password
  3. Obtain the email verification code and complete verification
  4. Registration successful, the system automatically assigns a merchant number

Log in to Merchant Portal

After successful registration, use your email and password to log in to the Merchant Portal. After logging in, you can:

  • Browse the Merchant Portal feature menu
  • View basic account information
  • Enter the activation process to apply for business activation

Tip: After registration, you can familiarize yourself with the Merchant Portal interface first, and proceed with activation after preparing the materials.


Activate Business

After logging into the portal, you need to complete account activation and business activation before using business functions such as payments and transfers. The process consists of two stages:

Stage 2: Activate BusinessAfter account activation is approved, you can choose to activate Payments or Transfers business. Submit corresponding materials based on business type; you can start the business after approval
Account activation must be approved before you can choose to activate Payments or Transfers business.

Activate Account

After logging into the portal, the home page displays "Complete your merchant information to start unlocking our products". Click the Activate Account button to complete merchant identity verification before using platform functions.

Company Basic Information

The following company information is required for account activation:

  • Legal company name, trading name / former name
  • Company registration number, registration date
  • Company registered address (country/region, city, area, street address, postal code)
  • Company type (Limited company, Partnership, Sole proprietorship)
  • Company office address (can be the same as registered address)
  • Company contact email, phone number, WeChat ID

Company Associated Person Information

  • Associated person legal name, type (Director, Legal representative, UBO, PPTA)
  • Date of birth, correspondence address

Review Information

  • After submission, the platform will complete the review as soon as possible
  • Review results will be notified via in-app messages
  • If the review is not approved, the reason will be explained, and you can modify and resubmit
  • After account activation is approved, you can choose to activate Payments or Transfers business

Activate Payments Business

After account activation is approved, if you need to use payment functions, you need to complete business verification. Once approved, you can officially use payments functions.

Regional Restriction: Currently, the Payments business only supports applications from companies registered in Hong Kong and the United Kingdom. Companies from other regions are not supported at this time.

Review Information

Activate Transfer Business

After account activation is approved, if you need to use transfer functions, you need to provide transfer purpose and scenario information. This is a financial compliance requirement to help the platform understand your business needs. Once approved, you can officially use transfer functions.

Q: Can I use the Merchant Portal features immediately after registration?

A: After registration, you can log in to the Merchant Portal and browse the menu, but you need to complete account activation and business activation before you can officially use transaction-related features.

Q: What should I do if the review is rejected?

A: When the review is rejected, the system will display specific review comments. Please modify the relevant information according to the comments and resubmit. You do not need to re-register an account.

Q: How long does the review take?

A: The review duration depends on the completeness and accuracy of the submitted materials. Generally, it can be completed within 15-20 days. Please ensure the information is accurate and the materials are clear and complete to speed up the review process.
